Beneath Our Feet

I braved the steep stairs inside the abandoned barn near our house to see what was on the top level and discovered that someone had converted it into a pool hall. I'm not sure when it was last used, but judging by the thick layers of dust and the potent musty smell, I'm guessing it hasn't seen use in at least several years.

I was playing around with some photo editing tools and trying to see if I could edit out the junk lying on the counter. The editing of the counter didn't go as well as I would have liked and so I ended up amusing myself by turning a bit of trash on the floor into a little smoky spirit vaguely resembling a dragon.

Unfortunately, most of the other pictures I took up there that day didn't turn out so well. There was a fair amount of dust floating around through the air (one of the windows is broken and it was a windy day) and unfortunately my camera has an annoying auto-focus feature on it, so most of the pictures came out rather blurry.
